EDU-DOCS

The EDU-DOCS project aims to enhance media literacy, digital storytelling, and civic engagement in schools across Europe. By integrating social documentary-making into education, the project empowers students to critically analyze media, foster intercultural dialogue, and develop digital skills. It also provides teachers with innovative pedagogical tools to support student well-being, inclusion, and active citizenship, ensuring long-term impact through open-access educational resources.

EDU-DOCS will implement teacher training, student workshops, and documentary creation labs across five countries.
Activities include hands-on media literacy sessions, participatory storytelling workshops, and collaborative student
exchanges. Educators will be equipped with digital teaching strategies, and students will create documentaries on civic and social issues. The project will culminate in public screenings, a digital resource hub, and open-access teaching materials
Outcomes include improved media literacy, strengthened civic participation, and enhanced digital skills. EDU-DOCS will establish a sustainable model for documentary-based education, integrating storytelling into curricula. The EDU-DOCS Toolkit and Virtual Library will ensure long-term accessibility, benefiting schools, policymakers, and educational institutions across Europe.
